VIP Rewards Club® Program Rules

Thank you for your interest in Winston Transportation Group’s VIP REWARDS CLUB®. The VIP REWARDS CLUB is a guest loyalty rewards program offered by Winston Transportation Group (hereinafter “Winston”). The following terms and conditions (hereinafter “Program Rules” or “Rules”) apply to the VIP REWARDS CLUB (hereinafter “club”). By gaining access to, using this site, or enrolling in the club you agree to be bound by these program rules. Winston reserves the right to revise or change these program rules at any time and without notice to you by posting updated text on this site. You are responsible for periodically visiting this site to view any changes. If we update our program rules, any changes will apply to all club members, even if you enroll before Winston posts updated text. In these rules, the terms “you, your, and yours” refer to the club member, the terms “we and us” refer to Winston, the term “account” refers to your club membership account, and the term “points” refers to your club points.  For every completed reservation booked through www.winstontrans.com or Winston’s call center at 1-800-424-7767, members accumulate points that can be redeemed for reward travel. Enrolling into Winston’s VIP REWARDS CLUB® / Membership / Program Registration

VIP REWARDS CLUB is a paperless, electronic guest loyalty program. Program registration is available online at www.winstontrans.com, or through the Winston call center at 1-800-424-7767.

Membership in the club is for individual travelers only. Corporations and other entities may not be enrolled as members.  Members must enroll separately and may not pool or combine points with other members.  Each member may have only one (1) account, and must provide his or her first name, last name, address and telephone number.  Each member must also provide an individual e-mail address and password in order to register with and participate in the club.

Members are responsible for notifying us immediately of any change of e-mail or physical address or legal name change.

Each Member shall be responsible for remaining knowledgeable about their account information, accumulated points, redeemed points, points expiration and the program rules. Club information can be found at www.winstontrans.com.  Club member account information can be accessed by calling 1-800-424-7767.

Accumulation / Earning Points

With Winston’s VIP REWARDS CLUB, the more you travel, the more you earn.  After earning 10 points (5 roundtrips or 10 one way trips) or 16 points (8 roundtrips or 16 one way trips) in 24 consecutive months, you receive a savings certificate or FREE travel, whichever applies (see rewards conversion chart).

To receive points, reservations must be booked under the member’s name exactly as the member’s name appears on the account.  Any discrepancy may delay or void receipt of points.

In the event membership numbers are not attached to the reservation at time of booking, members can contact Winston and attach membership numbers post trips completion.  Winston reserves the right to make exceptions to this rule at its discretion.  You may request past trip credit through the Redemption Center at 1-800-424-7767 hours are between 9 AM and 4 PM Mon-Fri (Eastern Standard Time).

Points will not be awarded on unused, cancelled, forfeited, refunded or fraudulent travel bookings. Certain travel is not eligible for earning points.  This includes, without limitation, the following: all travel purchased with points (“Reward Travel”), employee/employee family rates, nonrevenue (free), complimentary travel, free travel promotions including free or reduced rate travel, unpublished fares, non-revenue travel, and travel subject to special provisions. Winston reserves the right to determine which travel is eligible to earn points.

Travel prior to joining the club will be credited as half value (.5) points per completed trip.  Only completed trips within the 12 months prior to joining the club will be credited.

Points are valid the date upon which the trip is completed.  Points are accumulated and held for two years at which time they’re deleted from your account.  Each point is valid for 24 months from the date earned.  Your account will contain only valid points collected within the immediately preceding 24 consecutive months.

Winston reserves the right to offer incentive bonuses to members who book travel online through www.winstontrans.com.  Winston may from time-to-time offer bonus points for various activities or eligible purchases. These offers may be temporary in nature. Winston reserves the right to modify or eliminate such offers at any time. These offers are void where prohibited by law.

In addition to rewards, Winston may from time to time offer “bonus” awards or credits, partnership programs, or promotional incentives for club members. Such offers are not a part of the program’s formal award structure and may be temporary. Winston reserves the right to modify or eliminate such offers at any time. Members may earn points through either (1) travel operated and marketed by Winston, (2) through programs with our business partners, such as, (but not limited to) Winston Tours, Sir Winston and Winston Coach. In addition to these program rules, our business partners may have special terms and conditions that provide additional rules for the earning, transferring, accumulating, and redeeming of points. Business partners are independent entities and Winston is not responsible for the nature or quality of products or services provided by club business partners, nor solicitation efforts by those partners. There may be some delay between eligible transactions with business partners and the posting of points in your club account.

Offers are subject to change without notice.  Offers cannot be combined with other offers, discounts, coupons or promotions.  Reservations are subject to availability.

Redeeming VIP Points for Reward Travel

The only thing easier than earning credits is redeeming them for your transportation. After earning the points needed to redeem for the reward travel.  Advise the Reservations Sales Agent that you will be using a reward for your travel. You will be asked for your account number as well as several verification questions designed to protect your account and rewards.  The redemption process requires a minimum of five business days to process.

Winston’s general offices are open 24 hours a day by calling 1-800-424-7767. Our Redemption Specialists will be more than happy to assist you with your questions or requests. Redemption Center hours are between 9 AM and 4 PM Mon-Fri (Eastern Standard Time).

NO blackout dates for reward travel, but dates are subject to availability.  Rewards will be subject to seat restrictions and availability.  It may be particularly difficult to secure a seat when trying to make reservations on short notice around holiday periods such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, President’s Day, some weekends during Spring Break, Memorial Day, last week of June, July 4th, and Labor Day.

Members are responsible for New York State sales tax, Tolls (bridge, road and tunnel), driver gratuity, any other fees, taxes or surcharges applicable to reward travel.

If you do not show for your reward travel and fail to cancel prior to departure, all points used in connection with the reward travel will be forfeited.  Once an reward travel is booked using points, it may only be cancelled prior to scheduled departure by calling the club’s Redemption Center at 1-800-424-7767, and paying a $25. cancellation fee. Points will then be re-deposited to the Member’s Account.  Redemption Center hours are between 8 AM and 4 PM Mon-Fri (Eastern Standard Time).

A savings certificate can only be applied to shared service (roundtrip).  A free shared ride (roundtrip) certificate is good toward either shared van or shared sedan service.

Winston reserves the right to revise, amend, or modify the amount of points required to redeem reward travel.

Points Expiration

Once points are redeemed for reward travel, the points are deleted from the members account.

Legal Statement / Changes to these Program Rules / Miscellaneous Provisions

If Winston improperly denies a member points, reward travel, or some other benefit, the member’s exclusive remedy shall be the issuance of the improperly denied points, reward travel or such other alternative benefit as determined by Winston, and Winston shall have no additional liability whatsoever. In no event shall Winston be liable to any member or anyone claiming through a member or on a member’s behalf, for any direct, indirect or consequential damages, or lost revenue or profits, arising out of Winston ‘s acts or omissions in connection with the reward club program, whether or not foreseen, even if advised of the possibility thereof.

Points and reward travel have no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash.  Points or reward travel may not be sold, bartered, or otherwise exchanged for value.  Any points or reward travel that are/is purchased, sold, bartered, or otherwise exchanged for value are/is void. Violators (including any Member who uses a purchased or bartered reward) may be liable for damages and litigation costs, including the actual cost of travel and/or Winston’s attorneys’ fees incurred in enforcing this rule.

Requests for name changes may require supporting legal documentation.

Fraud, misrepresentation, abuse, improper conduct (as determined by Winston), or violation of applicable rules (including, but not limited to, Winston ‘s Contract of Carriage, tariffs and program rules) may result in administrative and/or legal action by appropriate governmental authorities and/or Winston. Such action may include, without limitation, the forfeiture of all points and/or reward travel, forfeiture of any accumulated points in a club member’s account, deduction of club points, as well as cancellation of the account and proscription of the Member’s future participation in club. In addition, Winston reserves the right to take appropriate legal action to recover damages, including attorneys’ fees, incurred in prosecuting any lawsuit. Any violation of such applicable rules as described above includes but is not limited to, members who are disruptive or otherwise threaten or endanger the safety and security of Winston staff or other Winston guests as described in the Winston Contract of Carriage and tariffs.

Winston reserves the right to audit, without notice to the club member, any and all club accounts at any time to ensure compliance with these program rules. If the audit reveals discrepancies or possible violations of these program rules, Winston may delay the processing of reward redemption requests, pending completion of the audit, cancel any outstanding reward travel, withhold statements until the audit is completed, or terminate the Member’s account upon finding a violation of the program rules. During the audit period, club points may accrue but no reward travel will be permitted.

All rules are subject to interpretation by Winston. Headings used in these program rules are for convenience purposes only and shall not be used in interpreting the program rules.

Winston may, among other things, in its sole discretion and without notice to the club member: (i) withdraw, limit, modify, or cancel points or reward travel; (ii) change program rules, regulations, benefits, club point balances or reward travel levels, participant affiliations, conditions of participation, rules for earning, redeeming, retaining or forfeiting points, or rules for the use of travel rewards, (iii) introduce, add, modify reward travel blackout dates, introduce the number of seats available for reward travel (including, but not limited to, capacity controls and allocating no seats on certain flights), otherwise restrict the continued availability of points or reward travel or special offers; or (iv) terminate the program with two months notice. Winston may make any one or more of these changes even though such changes may affect the Member’s ability to use the points that you have already accumulated. Winston reserves the right to change the number of points required for reward travel and/or change the period for which accrued points are valid.
